Style Request: Chicago Manual of Style 16th edition (author-date, Spanish)
Hello everyone,
I´m a Zotero user from Colombia. I have recently been asked to write in Spanish and to use the Chicago manual of style. However, I searched in the Repository and didn´t find a Spanish version (this mainly affects parts of the Bibliography in which the words indicating editors, translators, etc., should be in Spanish).
Here are the references the instructions ask me to include in Spanish:
- Campbell, J. L., y Pedersen, O. K. (2007). The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies, 40(3), 307–332. doi:10.1177/0010414006286542
- Mares, I. (2001). Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? En P. A. Hall & D. Soskice (Eds.), Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage (pp. 184–213). New York: Oxford University Press.
I can also include the examples of the Chicago English Version, translating the small words myself:
- Hartman, Peri, Jeffrey P. Bezos, Shel Kaphan, y Joel Spiegel. 1999. “Method and System for Placing a Purchase Order via a Communications Network.” https://www.google.com/patents/US5960411.
I hope this is enough... I would be VERY useful for me to have this style ready ASAP. Thanks!

It is, however, very close to American Psychological Association. You can change the language used in either of these styles in Zotero:

we have an es-ES and an es-CL locale, which are very similar. I'd expect the Chilean one to work better for Latin American Spanish when in doubt.
Great advice - and great timing. Thank you very much!
I´m curious about the Zotero bibliography Locale Switcher... do you have one for Chrome?
