Zotero Integration error insert citation

I can insert one citation in a LibreOffice document. The second and subsequent attempts to insert a citation fail. The only way I can continue inserting citations is to close Zotero. Re-open Zotero and the next insert citation. This only works once so I have to repeat it to continue inserting citations.

I receive this Zotero Integration notification:

which LibreOffice version and which OS is this?
And this happens in an empty document, too?

Hi adamsmith - thinks for this.

OS - Windows 8
LO - 4.2.8.2

There is no problem in an empty document. I have creating new footnote citations using Zotero in the other document but still get the same error.

Any ideas?

First thing would be to update LibreOffice -- current version is 4.4.1.

sorry, I don't quite follow this. What is the "other" document here? Are you saying this does happen in multiple documents or only in one, your main document?
