View items in collection with search in library
Hello,
How do I quickly switch from viewing items in a collection, then searching in the whole library, then then switching back to that collection?
One workflow that I often use is to view items in a collection, adding new items from the web. Before I add a new item to that collection, I want to check whether the potential new item is in the library already, so I switch to the library, do the search, then switch back to the collection. That's a lot of clicking.
If you could set up the search, so that it always searches the whole library, then no clicking would be needed. Alternatively a quick way of switching from collection to library, and then back to "last active collection" would also do it.
Any thoughts as to how I can improve this workflow?

I was just thinking about this again - there are other circumstances where I use this workflow. E.g. reviewing items in a collection, then doing a library-wide search to add something to the collection, and then back to the collection again.
What about adding an option to the search that searches the whole library, even while a collection (or "saved search") is selected? The search code probably has something put in that specifically searches the selected collection only, so one would need an option to bypass this?
Thanks!
