[Style Request]: Earthquake Engineering & Structural Dynamics

Dear Zotero Team:

Could you please make a CSL style for the journal: Earthquake Engineering & Structural Dynamics (Wiley)? This journal is consensually viewed as the top journal in the area of earthquake engineering. The style sample is as follows:

1. Alonso P, Badía JM, Vidal AM. Solving the block-Toeplitz least-squares problem in parallel. Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience 2005; 17(1): 49-67. DOI: 10.1002/cpe.883.
2. Reismann H. Elastic Plates: Theory and Application . Wiley: New York, 1988;1-10.
3. PARAllel Total Energy Code. http://www.nersc.gov/projects/paratec [6 November 2004].

Detailed information can be found in: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1002/(ISSN)1096-9845/homepage/ForAuthors.html

Many thanks for your selfless help and favor!!!

  • Thank you adamsmith, the details of the requested style is added.
  • You can have a look at some of the Vancouver styles, many of which are quite similar. Beyond that, we need the exact two references listed on the "Requesting Styles" page, formatted for the requested style--not just any journal article&chapter.

Thank you adamsmith, i am now trying to edit the styles in Visual Style Editor. Could you please tell me how to add hanging indent in the styles? As you can see, some styles are hanging indented while others are not. Thank you in advance!
  • Go to the bibliography node, scroll down to the last line and set hanging-indent to true.
  • Thank you zuphilip, actually what i was finding is the "second-field-align" key. When i set it to "flush" then all goes fine. Thank you again for your kind-hearted help!
  • (that's technically not indenting, but it's definitely what you want for numeric styles).
  • Thank you adamsmith, it is very exciting to see Zotero can modify styles. Many marvelous things to explore!
