Hello,

I am a member of a group library via Zotero. I was required to reimage my computer, and had to reinstall Zotero. I am able to access the group library via my Zotero web account, but cannot sync the group library back onto my computer standalone after the reinstall. Every time I try, a red exclamation point appears next to the sync button stating that "Conflicts have suspended automatic syncing. Click the sync icon to resolve them." Clicking the sync icon simply brings back the same notice.

Why can't I sync the group library which I am a member of, and which is stored on my web account, onto my Zotero desktop standalone?

  • Not sure why you're not seeing the conflict resolution dialog, but if you just have an empty library on your computer and you want to sync everything down from zotero.org, you can go to Preferences -> Sync -> Reset and use "Reset from Zotero Server"
