Syncing and Info retrieval for DOI and ISBNs not working

    Updated Zotero and works.

    New Issue: I have to update manually despite auto update enabled.

    As stated: Auto Update enabled.
    SSL scanning deactivated and still there was no auto-update.

    if you click on the lock at the left of the URL bar icon at the top of this page, what does it say under "Verified by"? (In Chrome, that's be under "Connections" after clicking on the lock).

    on the Zotero page it is GeoTrust Inc.

    Checked again in Avast and HTTPS scanning is not ticked as active.

    OK, that should be fine then. And this is the Firefox add-on?
    We have no other reports of that not updating with correct certificates. I'd just keep an eye on it and let us know if it doesn't automatically update for 4.0.27 (whenever that comes out) and we can take another look.

    Ideally post here before manually updating, otherwise it's hard to see what's going on.
