Date column in main panel of Zoter

Hi,

I've added the date column in the main panel Zotero. Unfortunately Zotero shows the date entries as they are entered for each reference item. Therefor this column holds entries as "2014" "11.03.2014" "2014-12" "03.02.2015" "2015-03-03".

I do vote for a possibility to set a given format to show all dates in the same format.

Hi Gracile,

the discussion you cited has started 5 years ago and there seems to be no real progress. Do you - or any other person - have any information if the date field overhaul is in progress or just on the wish list?

There's no ETA, but some progress on the tracker: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/637 (note that feature requests and comments should stay on the forums). Though it is not exactly your problem, it is related.
