Error message when downloading Zotero Connector into Chrome

Hi,
When I try to download the Zotero Connector, I get the message:

'This item is already being downloaded and added into Chrome.'

But then when I click the reload button, I get the same error message.

When I go to my Chrome extensions, the Zotero Connector does not show up.

Note: I believe I initially tried to download the connector before installing Zotero Standalone.

Please advise.
