cite volume number AND page range

Hi there, this is probably a basic question, but I haven't been able to find it in a previous discussion.

In the Quick Format Citation Dialog is there a way to cite the volume number of a multi-vol book AND the page range at the same time?

i.e.: (Espanca, 1985a, vol.5, pp.25-69)

Or to get this you have to add ", pp.25-69" to the suffix?
  • sorry, unfortunately, suffix is the only way to go here (not much of a problem with author-date styles, though--the workaround works just fine. This becomes a real issue with styles that use ibid. We're aware of that limitation, but still not sure about the best way to handle this, so will likely take some time for a real solution).
  • Ok. Thanks for the reply.
I'll be anxiously hoping for a solution, would be a major improvement.
And I didn't realize what would happen when you have "ibid"...
