Language

Hello everyone,

is it possible to change the lanuage of the citation style "American Marketing Association" or "Journal of Marketing" into German? In this context I would also like to know whether there is a difference between the two styles?

Thank you in advance for feedback!

Best regards
Regine
  • you can change default-locale="en-US" to default-locale="de-DE" in the AMA style (the Journal of Marketing style is identical and, in fact, just a link to AMA). Not sure how well the translation will work, we don't put a lot of care into usability across languages for styles with a default locale. General instructions for editing styles here:

Don't forget to change title and ID.
  • The American Marketing Association has several journals: Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing. All of them can be found in the repository and they are actually the same. @reginchen212: Any particular reason you are interested in AMA in German? I mentioned a similar idea in some context some days/weeks ago...
  • Thank you for the very fast response and excuse me at the same time for the late feedback! @zuphilip: the reason is that my dissertation will be in German and I shall stick to AMA style. Sorry for haven't seen your mention!
  • @reginchen212: Okay, I see. I have helped lately some Msc students with a style for a German marketing chair. Let me know if you might have similar requirements.
  • @zuphilip: thanks for your support! I will keep it in mind!
