Accessing Linked Zotero Files

Forgive my ignorance with this program.

I am an undergraduate student and my professor said he would send me some documents via email.

He sent me the following link:

zotero://report/items/1035/html/report.html


I was not familiar with zotero so I installed the program using firefox but don't know how to go about plugging in the above link to access the files.

Any help is appreciated.

    That is a link to a report in his local Zotero collection.

    If he wants you to see that report he will need to export it. He can do that by saving it as HTML just as he would save any webpage. He can then send you the exported HTML file as an email attachment.
