Quotes, Order of Notes

Hi everybody,

I'm a total novice to zotero. I have a couple of questions and searching the discussions didn't help me, so hopefully one of you can:

1. Is there any way of storing excerpts apart from notes? I would like to store my excerpts and annotations seperately for each article.

2. Is there a way of switching the order of the notes? At the moment, the notes that I took first (and that are usually referring to parts at the beginning of a paper) appear on the bottom of each note-list in the mid-panel.

1. The new sync preview would allow you to make notes with HTML, so that you can specify a blockquote, as appropriate. You can also use tags or the title line to differentiate the two.

2. You can sort notes alphabetically & use the first line as a title to sort the items by.

re 2: sorting alphabetically means that you can start them with something like:
1.1
1.2
1.3
2.1

or use the old BASIC line numbering technique to give room in between the notes:
1.10
1.20
1.30
etc.
