Sync Error: Note too long (but can't locate note!)

Hello,

I am currently getting a sync error saying that a note is too long (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ill5qafmzfv1voo/Screen Shot 2015-02-16 at 2.58.01 pm.png?dl=0).

However, when I search for the note in Zotero, no results show up (https://www.dropbox.com/s/cf9o30ig8oqhi7x/Screen Shot 2015-02-16 at 2.58.25 pm.png?dl=0).

The same happens in Finder (https://www.dropbox.com/s/scp9hnhlp0fk2su/Screen Shot 2015-02-16 at 2.58.40 pm.png?dl=0).

If I search for the title of the note in zotero, there are a few files that show up, but none of them have a note (https://www.dropbox.com/s/dup4yj3f4g3solz/Screen Shot 2015-02-16 at 2.59.11 pm.png?dl=0).

I have emptied the trash and restarted Zotero, but none of this helped.

Please advise.

I'm surprised the search for the item ID didn't work -- you searched in "all fields and tags" mode?
If so, among the PDFs that get a result for the note text, did you click on them to check that they don't have a note (PDF files can have individual notes, which wouldn't show up in the item view).
Do you use ZotFile?

Yep, searched in "all fields and tags", and "everything" as well for that matter.

Just double-checked the results to see if any have individual notes, which they don't.

I do use ZotFile, yes. Could it be related to that somehow?

Awww snap! You are right.

I checked the trashcan at the very bottom, which is linked to my group libraries (which I only recently set up). Hence the confusion!
