Which style(s) & which version of Zotero?

EDIT: You may be able to save the file (click on the name of the style, rather than the install link; save as "SOMETHING.csl") and then open it in Firefox to install.

Zotero 1.5 sync3.2 preview, firefox 3.0.3. all styles (haven't actually checked every single style)

Am currently saving file* and manually importing it into the styles folder.

    * After error msg, a "open with/ save as" dialog box appears- using this to save does not work. Have to right click on the link to "save link as" to save the file.

So- yes, one can still install styles manually, but the 'install' links do not work.
  • For me, some of the install links work & some do not...

Out of the 17 that I checked, only one worked (Nature Journal).

I decided to try and find out if there was any difference between the ones that worked and the ones that didn't, by looking into the files- when I opened a file (in firefox) that I had manually imported, I got a dialog box asking me if I wanted to install /update the file. Like it should have when I first tried to install it.

update: on the other hand- when i opened a style file that had installed fine, i did not get the msg asking if i wanted to install / update it.
  • Web-based installation of large styles (basically, non-dependent styles) is broken in 3.2—this is already fixed on the trunk.
  • Thank you for the info Dan.

I did try looking through the forums if this problem had already been reported- I guess I didn't dig deep enough. Perhaps a search function would help combing through the forums for specific /related issues ?
