can't install LibreOffice inegration extension Ubuntu 14.04 LibreOffice 4.403

Just today upgraded LibreOffice to 4.4 and discovered that the citation integration was not working (clicked on 'set preferences' and no dialog window appeared).

So I thought, I'll reinstall the add on.

Kept getting an error message about LibreOffice being open when it wasn't. So uninstalled the add on from Firefox and tried to reinstall it.

That didn't work - so I tried manual insttallation and I get these two messages:

You are about to install version 3.5.9 of the extension 'Zotero LibreOffice Integration'.
That version is already installed.
Click 'OK' to replace the installed extension.
Click 'Cancel' to stop the installation.

which is weird, as it isn't installed - I made sure to remove it from the extensions list

so I press OK to replace it and get this error message:

(com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException) { { Message = "unknown error!", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 } }

    I'm still not sure what exactly fixes this, so if you get it fixed, I'd be curious which of the various steps work for you. Follow up in that thread.
