Zotero not loading item from biblio database

I read the forum and try different solutions proposed but no way to have zotero loading the item: I have the "Loading items list..."

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [mozIStorageConnection.executeSimpleSQL]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: anonymous :: line 105" data: no] [QUERY: CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tmpSearchResults_IVpvT6m8 AS SELECT itemID FROM items WHERE (itemID NOT IN (SELECT itemID FROM itemNotes WHERE sourceItemID IS NOT NULL) AND itemID NOT IN (SELECT itemID FROM itemAttachments WHERE sourceItemID IS NOT NULL))] [ERROR: disk I/O error]

I also try to make a new profile and install Zotero and I have a yellow warning on Zotero Icon.

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [mozIStorageConnection.createStatement]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: anonymous :: line 189" data: no] [QUERY: SELECT cslID, title FROM csl ORDER BY title] [ERROR: no such table: csl] [QUERY: SELECT cslID, title FROM csl ORDER BY title] [ERROR: no such table: csl]

Any Idea?
  • The first error states there are disk i/o problems. Do you have sufficient free space & have you checked that disk (after backing up your data to a known disk, you can use fsck & smartmontools)?

If you have disk issues, that may explain the latter error. In any case, it seems that Zotero wasn't installed completely & you could try re-installing the extension in that profile (after backing up data & confirming your disk is in good health).
  • My disk is in good healt with a lot of disk space. I have no issues with other programs so I think it is related with Zotero.

I've tried to install Zotero in a different profile as well as to re-install it.
  • @noksagt

After your post I double check my HD and I discover that my home partition had a lot of space whereas my / partition was full it was cause by a backup made in the wrong partition. So I free It and now everything is ok! Thanks for the support.
