Failed install of Firefox/Word plugin
There was an attempt to install the Firefox plugin for word on my OSX device, but I do not have Word, so the attempt appropriately failed.
Now, every time I start Firefox, Firefox complains that it can't find Word to complete the plugin install - fair enough. I am getting tired of these notices, especially because I have no intention of ever installing Word.
I'd like to get rid of the notice on start-up that Firefox can't install the plugin because it (firefox or zotero, not sure) can't find Word. I am guessing that either there is a file hanging about somewhere or a flag to be reset.
Any suggestions?

adamsmithAnd the Add-on is not listed in your Firefox about:addons ? It should be and then you can just de-install it.

SalishSeaYep, that would do it. Never thought to look there. Many thanks!
