cannot attach link to URI

Option "Attach link to URI..." is not working. When I insert the URI (exm.: http://www.wikipedia.org/ ) and then click OK nothing happens.
Zotero 4.0.25.2 (standalone) Windows 8.1

I see that there was a similar (or the same?) issue three years ago
