Style Request: Jurnal Pangan dan Agroindustri (JPA)
Hello,
I'd like to submit my paper to Jurnal Pangan dan Agroindustri which is locale journal in Indonesia. The closest style that match is 'Elsevier Harvard (with titles)', but it still needs some change.
So I need the citation style suits both the format and Indonesian language. The biggest obstacle is changing some words into Bahasa (Indonesian language), so here are some things that I asked:
1. Transliteration
'and' must be replaced to 'dan' (for both inline citation and bibligraphy)
'accessed' must be replaced to 'Diakses pada'
2. Inline citation
example:
(Accadia <i>et al.</i>, 2012; Ahlquist dan Breunig, 2009; Borges, 1999)
(McInnis dan Nelson, 2011)
3. The separator for each field is using period.
eg:
author.issued.title.journal name
4. No DOI on bibliography
I would greatly appreciate your help and suggestion, thanks in advance.
Regards from Indonesia,
M Aswan Syahputra

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
Glad to see another Indonesian fellow here.
I know how it feels. I currently working on my thesis with Zotero and some details you have mentioned above really frustrating me all the times.
I do look forward for some upgrade or any other ways to make things easier in citation and bibliographical customized with a language style tools. None in the market though. I hope Zotero will consider it as a great value for their business.
Best regards,

Download this style and edit the code of CSL:
1. In the first line change default-locale from en-US to correct locale code for Bahasa - Indonesia (sorry I do not know it) - It cold be enough for transaltion from english to bahasa language
2. in the macro "author-short" and/or "author" add new line:
<et-al font-style="italic"/>
behind line with <name .... />
3. in the code find suffixes, prefixes and delimiters and change it to period (change one and try a correct function, before you change the next one)
4. If you do not need DOI you can find this line:
<text variable="DOI" prefix="doi:"/>
and change it to
<!--<text variable="DOI" prefix="doi:"/>-->
I've just created the style. Let me know if there is some mistakes.
Could you do us a favour and email the journal that the link to their Author guidelines doesn't work and just ends in an eternal loop. Could you also tell them that the style is made and should appear on the repo once it's been reviewed and it'd be great for them to link to it from their website? https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:jurnal-pangan-dan-agroindustri
