EBSCO and other database links

How do I set Zotero so that when I download a citation from EBSCO or another databae, it doesn't automatically create a separate item for a link to the citation in the database? I'm working with a bibliography of around 3000 items with notes, and I don't want it cluttered up with all these database links that I never use. I've already set it not to download PDFs automatically and not to save a snapshot of the webpage, but there doesn't seem to be an option for eliminating all these links that are just in the way.

    sorry, there is no way to do that. You can delete these pretty quickly with the help of a well specified saved search, though.
