downloading pdfs

when i try to download pdfs, zotero says it's been saved, yet the files doesnt exist in my folders in library.

    How exactly are you downloading? What browser? Which Zotero (Standalone/Firefox)? Where are you checking (zotero.org, Zotero Standalone, Firefox)?

    i use firefox browser, and checking firefox zotero. i checked my cookies to see if they are permitted.
    for example; http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022391302010284 the pdf in linked page, when i save it, zotero says it has been saved but i can't find it in my browsers.

    So you're clicking the URL bar icon? Or what do you mean by downloading the PDF? And the title of the article appears in the grey pop-up bubble? Does it save the article and not the PDF?
