I have had to add Adblock to my tools because of an overwhelming amount of adds that have appeared on my system lately, in fact, to the point where they have been fouling up my computer. However, on of the things that I have noticed, and I cannot tell if it is incidental or not, is that fact my copy of Zotero for Firefox get erased. My Standalone verrson is OK. Has anyone else noticed this?

sorry, not clear what you mean, but Zotero works fine the the AdBlock Plus Firefox add-on. Me and tens of thousands of users have those installed.

That is strange. My Zotero for Firefox has been deleted without my permission twice this week. Fortunately, it is only the programme that gets deleted and not the database. It must be something other than AdBlock Plus Firefox that is causing the problem. I'll reload Zotero for Firefox and see if it happens again. Thanks
