Quotation Marks

Dear Zoteroists

I am wondering where I can change citation marks that are used in citations. I am typing them as follows in Zotero:

Martin Mosimann: Die "Mainauer Naturlehre" im Kontext der Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Beiheft: Transkription und Textsynopse. Tübingen 1994 (Basler Studien zur deutschen Sprache und Literatur 64).

In Word they are cited as such:
Martin Mosimann: Die „Mainauer Naturlehre“ im Kontext der Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Beiheft: Transkription und Textsynopse. Tübingen 1994 (Basler Studien zur deutschen Sprache und Literatur 64).

I would rather have them as german guillemets:
Martin Mosimann: Die »Mainauer Naturlehre« im Kontext der Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Beiheft: Transkription und Textsynopse. Tübingen 1994 (Basler Studien zur deutschen Sprache und Literatur 64).

Where am I to change the locale settings for quotation marks?

Best regards
Claudio
  • <locale>
    <terms>
    <term name="open-quote">»</term>
    <term name="close-quote">«</term>
    <term name="open-inner-quote">“</term>
    <term name="close-inner-quote">”</term>
    </terms>
    </locale>

    adjust the inner quotes (quotes-within-quotes) as needed.
  • I am very sorry, that would have been an easy question to answer. I thought I had to change something about the locale files themselves but could not find them. With the change in my citation style everything is alright. Thanks a lot!
  • Thanks for the clarification, is there any way of making a CSL type replace intact inner quotations marks according to `open-inner-quote` and `close-inner-quote`?

    E.g. output a title saved as: Something about „Worktitle“ and other things

    as

    „Something about ‚Worktitle‘ and other things“?
