Zotero Plugin for Word crashes Word ID: 1120264787

Hello There!

I will be extremely grateful if my problem can be solved.
I use Windows XP and Microsoft Word 2007, and, as far as I know, I have the lastest version of Zotero and Firefox.
My problem is, that sometimes, during writing a paper and using the Zotero's plugin for Word, my computer get stuck and Word crashes down. The problem can repeat itself, even if I restart Firefox. It happens occasionally from time to time, so I can't point out anything unusual that was done during my work. May I add that the same problem happens to a friend of mine, whose Windows and Word versions are more advanced.

Is there anything can be done in order to aid the solution of the problem?

By crash do you mean that Word actually quits with an error message, or just that it freezes?

It freezes, but unless I force it to quit (by the "end task" option), nothing will happen, and Word will remain stuck...
