Creating Bibliography from Collection, Chicago Style - Save as RTF bug?
1. I choose a collection and select "create bibliography from collection"
2. I choose Chicago Manual of Style (Full Note with Bibliography)
3. I choose save as RTF
When I open the document, any citations of articles or book chapters are missing the first letter of the title. For example it will look something like this:
Book Section:
Feierman, Steven. “frican Histories and the Dissolution of World History.”In Africa and the Disciplines, edited by Robert H Bates, V. Y Mudimbe, and Jean O'Barr, xxiii, 245. Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1993.
Article:
Cooper, Frederick. “hat is the Concept of Globalization Good For? An African Historian's Perspective.”African Affairs 100 (2001): 189-213.
Notice that in the book section the "A" in African is missing. In the Article the "W" in What is missing.

dstillmanI assume you're trying to open it in something like WordPad? We'll try to fix this, but, in the meantime, you should be able to open the RTF file in a real word processor such as Word and, if necessary, resave as RTF. It can then be opened in WordPad without the problem.
