Genome Biology export format is incorrect

Hi,

I know I'm being selfish here, but I'm sure there are other people that will eventually benefit. I'd like to change or have the Genome Biology export format changed. Right now I see a couple problems:

The author list should only be truncated with et al. after 30 authors have been listed. The current exporter stops after 5.

The URL reference format is incorrect. See:

http://genomebiology.com/info/authors/instructions/#references

Is it possible for me to edit my local copy of the export formatter? (it's XML, right?) If so, where is it?

If it's not too much trouble, I can offer to fix the global copy for everyone.

    I fixed the et al. issue in SVN. Elaborate on the URL format or sign up for a trac account & use SVN if you'd like to fix it yourself.

    Regarding the URL, I get this:

    40. Google: Available: http://www.google.com/. Accessed 7 October 2008

    But I'm supposed to have this:

    40. Google [http://www.google.com/]

    Is there a document somewhere that might shed some light on how to make the change?
