how to add a picture (book cover) to a book entry?

Hi,

This is a wonderful program. Thank you.

I want to also store Book Cover Pictures in an entry for a book. How an I accomplish that? Thank you.

Select a book in the middle pane. In the right pane, select "attachments" & click add. Choose one of the options.

Amazon has a lot of cover art. If they have an image for the book you want, go to the book page, click "see larger image." Right-click on the image in the popup & select "copy image location." Paste this in as a new URL. Then either save a snapshot or a link to this URL.

You can also use the new (in Beta 3) right-click option, Save Image as Zotero Snapshot, and drag the new snapshot on top of the parent item to make it a child attachment. It's complicated a little by the pop-up window Amazon uses for the larger images, though, so noksagt's method may be easier.
