Expanding text field for Short Title, etc.

The Title field expands to a large text box with word wrapping during text entry so that long titles are displayed in full. Could similar functionality be added to the Short Title field, as well the Series, Series Title, and Series Text fields? These can also be quite long, and it would make entry much easier.
