Database Repair Tool Fatal Error

I just tried to upload a zip file of zotero.sqlite.bak. According to my Finder window, the zip file is 516KB (though the zotero.sqlite.bak was 117.8 mb). This zip file seems to be significantly smaller than the 70mb allowed.

However, after a bit of time, the following page loaded in my browser:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 209715200 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 212030176 bytes) in /usr/share/pear/Archive/Zip.php on line 2190

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dan
  • The ZIP file you uploaded was 51MB, not 516KB. Send us an e-mail at support@zot....org and we'll send back the URL of the repaired DB.
  • Thanks. At one point, it did say 516KB which did seem low, but now it is saying 50.6MB. I will send the email.

One thing I am curious about though. 51MB is still less than the 70MB max. So why did I get the error?

    Thanks,
    Dan

The unzipping process exceeded a memory limit on the server.
  • Thanks. That makes sense. The good news is that I passed the Database Integrity Check this time around with the new file. Thanks so much for all of the help.
