Could you provide some more context? What were you doing that caused the error?

Oh, of course, I'm sorry. I wasn't actually doing anything except entering data into my Zotero research files. I think that the error was a consequence of it trying to sync...which it is doing fine, now. It said something about receiving an anomalous message from the server. Because it apparently did connect properly with the server and did sync subsequently, I likely wouldn't have said or done anything, but it specifically told me to send you the error number.

you can ignore this then - I believe the message would have said "If you see this message repeatedly..." if this is a one-off issue there's no need to troubleshoot. Thanks for reporting, though.
