problems with harvard ecommons science direct website

Steps to reproduce:
In firefox normal mode:
1) Open harvard ecommons in firefox in normal mode.
2) the citation is saved, together with a snapshot, and the pdf is recognized but not downloaded (snapshot, note the lower right corner: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90013/snapshot_scienceDirect_harvard_ecommons.jpg)
In firefox private mode:
1) open harvard ecommons website in firefox private mode.
2) click the icon in the address bar. the tooltip says the translator is ScienceDirect.
3) A message "saving to zotero" with a yellow folder is displayed in the lower right corner, but nothing happens. Apart from the folder icon, no other items are shown.

Upgrade Storage
Private mode is expected to fail.
For the other issue
Do you have Standalone open when you do this?
In that case, PDF failure is expected, too. PDFs don't download for some databases when going through a proxy and using Standalone.
