Upgrade Storageiniital sync of attachements fails
I am using the zotero 1.5 preview. I initial installed it in
firefox-3.03 on a os X (power-pc) box. Initially I down loaded a
number of references and the actual PDF files. The I installed zotero
1.5 preview in my linux box and the bib information synced
wonderfully. Then I got access to a webDAV and tried to get attachment
syncing to work.
I have a webDAV working at
XXXXXX.XXXXXX.duke.edu:8443/home/faculty/jonm/Library
it seems to accept this input in that it creates the directory zotero/
I can also take my browser there directly (there are no certificate requests).
the problems is that no files are ever copied over.
I have reset the server data and the storage history.
I have added new entries with attachments to my library.
I have none both of the above from my linux box also.
in all cases, nothing happens. Bassically, I can't get any file copies the the zotero/ directory.
any ideas ?
I would love to get this working. I think this is fantastic. There are a few issues with some of the pluggins I would want to work with. If I can get the basic sync woking, I will try to get the rest of my department to use this. it is exactly what we were looking for. We had even talked about making a firefox plug in to do similar things.
what you have done is much better then what we would have produced. Looking forward to 2.0.

You can also check out the debug output for the sync attempt and see if you notice any messages about file sync. (If there's too much to parse, you can send it to support@zot....org.)
