"Best practises" for using beta with real data?
The sync preview seems robust enough to me to use on real data, at least to the extent that I haven't had it lose anything. I also found when I installed it only with toy databases that I didn't find time to give them a useful workout anyway.
So my procedure has been to (a) make a copy of my original database to use with the preview, (b) to add new and updated items I update to specific collections, which then (c) I regularly do zotero-RDF exports of.
I figure that if something goes wrong, I can revert to the older zotero database, and just import the exports to bring it up to date.
Anyone see any serious flaws with this scheme?
