Is there a way to simply UPDATE a reference page with new citation once I've started it (rather than having a whole new and separate one generated after I've added more citations)?

    What do you mean by "reference page?" The word processor plugins will update the bibliography. If you are creating an rtf/html bibliography or generating a report from within zotero itself, then it will always make a new file. You can choose to copy formatted references and paste them into one of these documents in some third-party editor, though.
