Highlighting words in Abstract field

Hi. Is there a way to highlight (bold or italicize) words that I input into the Abstract field in the Standalone version? I have a group library and the members of the group would like certain terms to be highlighted within the abstract. Thanks!

not in the display, no. Those are plain text fields.
If you want to highlight them in citations/bibliographies that include abstracts, that's possible, see

In the notes you can use rich text or html even. Thus, if you just copy the abstract to a new note and then highlight the words there.
