Export error

I've been using Zotero (Firefox Plugin flavor) and AutoZotBib quite successfully to export my library for a while now. Everything seems to have broken within the last thirty minutes, however. When I try to manually export, I am greeted with the "[JavaScript Application]: An error occurred while trying to export the selected file" dialog, and upon inspection of the generated file, it is reduced to one partial entry.

Some things I have tried:
-Manual export of entire library as well as individual collections
-Using both BibTeX and BibLaTeX translators.
-Deleting and renaming databases
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zotero plugin
-Rebooting
-Using the "Zotero Autoexport Plugin"
-Deleting the most recent entry

As far as I can tell, this happened when I added my most recent entry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • could you confirm that's on Zotero 4.0.23? In that case, let's continue this in the other, similar thread:
    https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/41196/export-to-bibtex-possibly-broken-in-4023/#Item_1
(nothing wrong with your post, just easier to have everything in one place).

Right now , I can say the error is identical in content to mine. I switched to my other computer (4.0.22) to get some work done and have since left for work, but it's probably a safe bet that if that update went out today while I was on the other machine, that's what did it because I had been using the other (now broken installation) all day without incident. Based on the timestamp of the other post. It seems likely.
  • See my update in the other thread. We'll fix this, but the immediate workaround is to upgrade to Firefox 33, which came out today.
