Zotero and a big word file - seems to load huge data parts / ID: D327344078
Dear Development Team,
I am currently writing a bigger word document (currently arround 40.000 words and around 300 citations). I merged it from 3 documents into one, but found a strange behaviour...
What I did so far:
- Totally reinstalled Zotero (for Firefox), Zotero for Word, Firefox and even Office 2013
- Merged all 3 documents into one, before set the document preferences in the new file.
- Using the APA style in all documents - no bibliography integrated
- Tried to edit one Zotero citation in the newly merged document - and then the system froze for a few minutes.
I could reproduce it and log it with Zotero. ID: D327344078
In the beginning, I was a bit shocked as 60.000 lines were logged. When I took a look at the file, I was even more shocked, as it seemed that huge loads of data (not relevant to this ONE citation were somehow loaded.
Any clue, if this should really be the case???
System details:
Windows 7, Word 2013, Firefox 32.0.3, Zotero 4.0.22, Zotero for Word 3.1.17
Thanks in advance. I would highly appreciate any support in relation to that - especially as the system seems really slow now with this big file. Anything I can do??
