Literature Review/Code Annotations/CAQDAS

Hi,

I am working on a literature review and noticed how some of the other reference managers are allowing you to code segments of text to analyze them similar to CAQDAS software such as nVivo, maxQDA or Atlas.ti.

I was wondering if there is a way to do something similar with Zotero? I have been using Zotero for years, love it, and do not want to switchto a commercial product for obvious reasons, but this looks like a killer feature to me.

Thanks!
  • No. Which other reference managers are you talking about?
  • I was apparantly misled. I was referring to Qiqqa and Mendeley, but after testing them more closely I did not find any CAQDAS functionalities (even though Qiqqa is mentioned on the CAQDAS wikipedia page).

    Sorry for the confusion.
  • There are a few threads on this in these fora (do a search on QDA). I think many of us agree that this would be a 'killer' feature. I could use this for a number of different projects and would even be willing and able to provide some money for it. But alas, nobody has stepped up to the plate to produce it.
