Error when syncing - Report ID: 1719743662

Hi - I'm hoping you can help. I'm using Standalone Zotero; when it tries to sync, I'm getting the following message in the middle of syncing a group library (Evidence team) which I've had access to for several months:

Component returned failure code: 0x8052000e (NS_ERROR_FILE_IS_LOCKED) [nsIFile.remove]

I've tried restarting both Zotero and my computer but it's not made any difference. Please can you advise?

    This is likely caused by either open files or, more likely, since you've restarted your system, security software on your system interfering with Zotero's ability to write to the disk.
  • It could also probably be caused by having your Zotero data directory in an unusual location — in Dropbox or on a network share — but that's less likely for this particular error.
