Upgrade Storagezotero wont start anymore
hey there,
I tried to set a new zotero reference directory (on dropbox) and right after choosing it, there was a window that I need the actual version of zotero. i downloaded it from the website (zotero standalone for OSX) and after installing it....noting worked anymore. now i even can not start zotero (Alert related to the situation that zotero can't start). So what to do?
I tried to restart and to do all other things mention in the forum and on the website.
A big thanks to whoever can help me here.

The error, though, is almost certainly from trying to put the data directory in Dropbox, which you absolutely shouldn't do. Move it out of there and choose a different location on startup if it lets you — if not, and you can't access the Zotero preferences, delete the prefs.js file in the Zotero Standalone profile directory.
