Timeline error - ID 174372277
Hello, I am trying to use the timeline feature in the standalone version for Mac, but I keep getting a Javascript error and it won't display anything on the timeline. I have tried selecting 1 item for the timeline and multiple items (at the same time), and I get the Javascript error regardless. I can provide a screenshot if needed. Can you please assist?

From the Reporting Bugs page, see that we need you to tell us exactly what you're seeing on screen in addition to providing a Report ID.
I am trying to put the patents I have entered into a timeline. I select a few (I've tried doing this one by one as well and still have the same problem). When I click on "Create Timeline," a separate screen will pop up, but it has that square in the corner that means there was an error. The only actual error message I'm getting is the one I sent you. The information just won't load into the timeline at all. I hope this helps some.
For one, it will ignore your selection and will create a timeline of everything inside a collection you have selected (or your whole library if that's what you have selected). Unfortunately, it currently ignores sub-collections, even if you have the recursiveCollections hidden preference set. That creates inconsistencies between what you see in Zotero and what is shown on the timeline. Try creating a timeline with your whole library to see if this works in general.
If that's not the issue you're experiencing, then make sure that you have dates entered for Date Issued in your patent entries. That is how Zotero places patents on the timeline.

I'll add timeline to the ticket, though chances are this is a bug in the underlying system (xulrunner) Zotero uses.
