import large files

Hi, I exported all my references from RefMan, and I tried to import them into Zotero. It seemed to cause a problem, because Firefox stopped twice, after about 8 minutes of struggeling. Is there any limitation of the file size to be imported? If yes, how should I import them?

    There is not a hard limit on file size. Generally issues failures with importing are the result of a few malformed entries. Try breaking the file up and see if chunks of it import successfully. If some of those chunks work try isolating the individual problem records.

    Also, which format are you using, (ex. RIS or BibTeX) and how big is the file? (Both the actual file size and the number of records).
