Error report 1738841379
Let me try to think what happened here. I've been using zotero quite a lot in the last few days.
The first thing I was noticing last night was a sync conflict on zotpad, I chose the ipad version and then would get error messages, I presume because my internet upload speed is so bad it was having connection issues, so I ignored it, read the help file and thought I'd try when on a different connection. This may or may not be related.
Today I opened zotero standalone and it reported an error and asked to reset. I reset the entire computer and when re-opened it, all my libraries had gone, they are back now it has re-synced, but without attachments so far, it is still syncing.
I also used mozilla for the first time in months yesterday - I'm fairly sure this is related, as it asked me to reset cookies etc etc. A folder appeared on my desktop called -old firefox. While looking for the attachments that were missing in zotero, finder (mac) found them in the old -firefox directly.
Should I attempt to copy them back into the correct folder, or see if the sync will do the job. My internet connection is seriously slow, I suspect it will take days of using up my bandwith to download all the ebooks.
Many thanks.

Use the zotero folder in the old profile like a backup:
https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#restoring_your_zotero_library_from_a_backup1
As it happens, I went to a high speed internet location and synced my library, which should work just as well right? And if everything is synced I can fairly safely delete the old firefox profile (presuming I have a back up of my own)?
Everything seems to be perfect, including Zotpad which is downloading pdf's fine, although I needed to increase the cache, it was full. Which was probably a coincidence.
