Upgrade StorageStop Zotfile from auto renaming attachments

I apologize if this has already been asked but I searched the forum.
I don't want Zotfile to automatically rename an attachment every time I save a reference to Zotero. As has already been discussed on this forum, the renaming step (either due to the fault of Zotfile or Zotero) causes significant slowdown--possibly due to re-indexing the pdf.
At any rate, I want to keep Zotfile installed so I can extract annotations. I have also changed the default folder that Zotfile looks for new attachments to a non standard folder (i.e., c:\temp instead of ~\Downloads). Nevertheless, Zotfile still insists on renaming every single download.
