Style Error: [Nationalities papers]

The sumbission guidelines of Nationalities Papers (http://www.tandfonline.com/action/authorSubmission?journalCode=cnap20&page=instructions) include a link to this document detailing the Chicago author-date format: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/authors/style/reference/tf_ChicagoAD.pdf

In the section on the reference list, it clearly states "Do not use a 3-em dash to replace author names".

This practice is confirmed by published articles in the journal.

The Zotero style included in the repository (https://www.zotero.org/styles/nationalities-papers) does exactly that, 3-em dashes to replace author names.

Support in fixing this is most welcome.
  • (thanks, will fix tonight&post here)
  • great, thanks!
  • The style is now fixed. The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by clicking "Update Now" in the General tab of the Zotero preferences.

Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know & thanks for reporting

Great, thank you for you support. It is now fixed.
Reference list still uses 3-em dashes if the item type is "report", but this is really a minor issues, all fine with books, journal articles, newspaper, etc. thanks!
  • no, that's a global setting so something else is going on. I'd suspect you manually edited said report item so it's not updating anymore.
  • Hi! you're right. I thought that by deleting and adding again the reference list it would automatically reset manual edits, but evidently this is not the case. After resetting manual edits, all's perfect.
    Thank you!
