In Firefox now URLs start chrome://zotero/content/

Hi - I'm a fairly new user. I first tried to use Zotero with Chrome, but switched to Firefox almost immediately and have been using it with Firefox for 2.5 months. I've been very happy, but just now I noticed that all the URLs when I'm in Zotero (for my citations, records) begin "chrome://zotero/content/."

Should this concern me? It seems odd, and I can't find it mentioned in the forums.

Thanks
JG
  • "chrome://" is a Firefox protocol that has nothing to do with the browser of the same name. What you're seeing is exactly right.
  • Where are you even seeing that, though?

    @adamsmith - fantastic, thank you!

    @Dan, it's in the address bar - it's the beginning of the "URL" (if it even is a URL?) for each record in my library. (and each folder, and the library itself...)

    Oh, do you mean chrome://zotero/content/tab.xul? (It's important to include exact examples of what you're referring to when reporting issues.) You'd see that — and only that, not multiple URLs — when using Zotero in tab/full-screen mode. If you're just using Zotero in normal pane mode you shouldn't see that.
  • Oh, I see, thanks, Dan. I was just looking at the beginning as a trunk, but I see now that they are all the same. Thanks again.
