These Zotero styles are similar to styles for IEEE Journals and Transactions!

Correct examples of references for the IET journals are presented in the point 5.11 on the web:
http://digital-library.theiet.org/journals/author-guide
  • All these journals should be based on the same citation style for IEEE. I guess that IEEE changed their style manual somehow? Can you elaborate what differences you encountered?

I guess that this is the new style manual: http://www.ieee.org/documents/style_manual.pdf
  • IET journals are not IEEE journals!
These are not the same Institutions and Publishers.
  • Thanks -- not sure how that happened, they were added in bulk August last year. Either someone misread or IET used to follow the IEEE style (which is, after all, a fairly widely used standard), but in either case they clearly don't use IEEE style now.
I'll take a look, but it won't be super quick.
