Canadian Cite Guide/McGill RedBook abbreviate (and shouldn't) book titre for collection of essays

How to change that^
  • Please be a little less brief when reporting issues. An example would be helpful, for example.
  • An example would be the following:

Zotero now - Ronald J Grele, “Oral History as Evidence” in Thomas L Charlton, Lois E Myers & Rebecca Sharpless, eds, Handb Oral Hist (Lanham, MD: Altamira Press, 2006).

RedBook requirement - Ronald J Grele, “Oral History as Evidence” in Thomas L Charlton, Lois E Myers & Rebecca Sharpless, eds, Handbook of Oral History (Lanham, MD: Altamira Press, 2006).

As thus, the name of the book should not be abbreviated.
  • You can turn off automatic journal abbreviations under "Set Document Preferences" in Word/LibreOffice. That should fix that issue and you wouldn't want those anyway (since they aren't correct for legal journals--they're intended for science/medical journals).
