Modification to Report in MHRA
Hi,
I have a rather specific request so I appreciate that it might not be possible/a good use of your time. For my archival material I'm using the report item type as I was advised this more flexible than the document item type. Some of this material is microfilm and is numbered by slide. I was wondering if it was possible to either include "slide" under the possible things to select (as opposed to page, book, chapter, etc, from the drop down menu when inserting a specific reference for a citation) or simply produce an option where this would be left blank and I could insert slide each time by hand. At the moment I am manually deleting the "p.", but this can be a problem when I try and update citations and is a bit of a nuisance.
I'm using Zotero standalone and have received the latest updates.
Again, appreciate this won't be a priority, but very happy to receive any help/comments.
best,
Mark

Mark WalmsleyAnyone with any useful work-arounds?

adamsmithYou're not the first one to request an empty locator field and I'm a big proponent, but this got stuck last time I pushed for it (on the CSL side, not at Zotero), forgot exactly why. It's possible to hack a citation style to define an unused locator (like sub verbo or so) as empty as a workaround.

adamsmithYou can also use the suffix field, though that produces incorrect ibids, which may be an issue.
