Syncing Gives Error Message - Can't move past it
Hello,
I installed zotero on a new computer and set about syncing it. It downloaded 16 items, then gave me an error message, saying to try restarting my computer or turning off the security software. I tried restarting the computer. That was two days ago. I'm trying again today and get one of two error messages when I try to sync: Something about a parent file not being found, or "Transaction in progress in Zotero.Sync.Server._checkSyncUser".
Not sure what to do?
Thanks.

The error message I am getting now reads:
The file 'C:\Users\slbarnh\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5fjs87zx.default\zotero\storage\SFDIBU84\Hugill_Communication and Empire Media Markets and Globalization 1860-1930.pdf' cannot be updated.
Check that the file is not currently in use, that its permissions allow write access, and that it has a valid filename.
Restarting your computer or disabling security software may also help
Is there some setting in Zotero that I need to adjust to allow write access permissions?
